Sandeep Vij

Who is Sandeep Vij?

Sandeep Vij is Vice President of Worldwide Marketing at Xilinx.

He is responsible for all aspects of Xilinx worldwide marketing

activities across all divisions, products, end markets, partners,

channels and geographies. During Vij's tenure, Xilinx has launched

some of its most successful products including its Virtex™

Platform FPGAs, Spartan™ FPGAs, and Real Digital CoolRunner™

CPLDs. To accelerate customer time-to-knowledge and adoption of programmable

technology, Vij pioneered the company's innovative mega events

including the Terabit Networking Forum, Home Networking Industry

Forum, and Programmable World. Prior to Xilinx, Vij held a variety of marketing positions within

Altera Corp. and engineering positions with GE. He is a graduate

of their Edison Engineering Program. Vij holds a master´s degree in electrical engineering from Stanford

University and a bachelor´s degree in electrical engineering from

San Jose State University.
