Who is Sandra Gulland?

Sandra Gulland is an American-born Canadian novelist. She is the author of Mistress of the Sun, a historical novel based on Louise de la Vallière, mistress of Louis XIV, The Sun King, and a trilogy of novels based on the life of Josephine Bonaparte: The Many Lives & Secret Sorrows of Josephine B.; Tales of Passion, Tales of Woe; The Last Great Dance on Earth.

To date, Gulland's novels have been published in fifteen countries and translated into thirteen languages. The Many Lives & Secret Sorrows of Josephine B. was a bestseller in the UK.
