Who is Sanjiv Buttoo?

Sanjiv Buttoo Works for BBC News. Over the yeare has worked for BBC Radio Leeds, BBC Asian Network, head of Asian Programmes BBC North West, and as a producer/presenter with the BBC's Investigation Unit. Sanjiv has also worked in television with Morth West Tonight and Look North.

He has extensive experience of producing & presenting current affairs programmes, making documentaries and writes regularly for BBC News Online. He has worked in South Asia covering terrorism, natural disasters and political unrest and has specialist knowledge of the Indian sub-continents social affairs, religion and culture. He has also worked with BBC World Service as a Producer in the Gulf, the Middle East and mainland Europe. After spending time as Assistant Editor BBC Radio Lancashire Sanjiv has now been appointed Managing Editor BBC Radio York.
