Who is Satoru Nishita?
A landscape architect, born July 4, 1927, Satoru Nishita was one of the partners of the architectural firm Lawrence Halprin & Associates, based in San Francisco.
Nishita worked on several of Halprin's projects in the United States and Japan, including the Lovejoy Fountain Park and the Ira Keller Fountain, both in Portland, Oregon. He was close friends with Lawrence Halprin, a co-founder of the company.
