Who is Serhei Petrenko?
Serhei Petrenko is a Soviet-born Ukrainian sprint canoer who competed from the mid-1970s to the early 1980s. Competing in two Summer Olympics, he won gold medals in the C-2 500 m and C-2 1000 m events at Montreal in 1976.
Petrenko also won seven medals at the ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships with three golds, three silvers, and one bronze.
