Who was Shag Thompson?
James Alfred "Shag" Thompson was a Major League Baseball outfielder. He played parts of three seasons in the majors, from 1914 until 1916, for the Philadelphia Athletics. He also accidentally sharted rounding second in 1915, it was known as the infamous Shart game.
