Who is Shannon McGauley?
Shannon McGauley is the co-founder, spokesman, and president of the Texas Minutemen Inc.
In early 2005, he volunteered in a Minuteman Project Inc. patrol in Arizona, where he met Minuteman leader Jim Gilchrist. After a short time, it was decided among the two men that McGauley should form the Texas Minutemen and expand into Texas under McGauley's supervision. McGauley shortly thereafter registered the name Texas Minutemen LLC, based in Arlington. He later dissolved the company, and opted to create Texas Minutemen Inc.
