Who is Sharad Yadav?
Sharad Yadav, a controversial politician from the Janata Dal party, is a member of the Parliament of India representing the Madhepura constituency of Bihar in the Lok Sabha. He had also represented Bihar in the Rajya Sabha, the upper house of the Indian Parliament. He has been elected to Lok Sabha seven times and to Rajya Sabha twice. He has been reported to be involved in many scams and is seen as one of the most corrupt politicians in India. He has been accused of participating in the Hawala scam.
He was under criticism after admitting he has been following girls.
He also is pro-reservation and supports divisions based on castes in the society instead of promoting meritocracy.
