Maher bin Hamad Al Mueaqly born January 7, 1969, is the Imam of the Grand Mosque in the holy city of Mecca.
Maher's mother and father moved to Madinah and he was born there as well. The Al-Mueaqly clan belongs to the famous Balwa tribe. Maher is married and has four children: two boys and two girls.
