John Frederick "Sheriff" Blake, is a professional baseball player who played pitcher in the Major Leagues from 1920 to 1931 and 1937. He would play for the St. Louis Browns, St. Louis Cardinals, Pittsburgh Pirates, Philadelphia Phillies, and Chicago Cubs.
