Who is Stacey Nuveman?
Stacey "Nuvey" Nuveman-Deniz is a former collegiate NCAA Division I 4-time First Team All-American, National Champion winning, right-handed hitting softball player originally from La Verne, California. She played for the UCLA Bruins at the catcher position. She also won two Olympic gold medals and one silver medal for Team USA and holds the NCAA softball career records for home runs, slugging percentage and intentional walks. She is also one of six players to possess a .400 batting average along with at least 200 RBIs and 50 home runs.
