Who is Stanford Au?

Stanford Au is Senior Vice President

of Technology, responsible for Shutterfly’s overall technology strategy

and execution. In this role, he leads the Company’s web engineering,

client engineering, platform engineering, internet operations and

quality assurance teams. Stanford brings more than 20 years of

experience in engineering, business and technology strategy to the

Company.

Prior to Shutterfly, Stanford worked at WebEx Communications where

he served as Vice President of Engineering, helping to define the

company’s business and technology strategy to focus on the corporate

and enterprise markets. Previously, he was Vice-President/General

Manager for the Internet Bill Presentment Payment division of

AOL/Netscape, where he was responsible for all aspects of the business.

Formerly, Au held various executive and senior engineering positions

with leading Silicon Valley companies including Virage, KIVA, Apple

Computer, Sun Microsystems and Hewlett Packard.

Stanford received his BS in electrical engineering and computer

science from the University of California, Berkeley. In his down time,

Stanford enjoys tennis, basketball and skiing; and shooting pictures of

his family with his Canon Powershot.
