Who was Stanley B. Resor?
Stanley Burnet Resor led the J. Walter Thompson advertising firm in the mid-twentieth century. Collaborating with his wife, Helen Lansdowne Resor, who was the creator of some of the most memorable advertising campaigns of the time, he built the firm into one of the leading firms in the United States.
Resor was born in Ohio and was with JWT from 1916 to 1955. Resor's vacation home in Wyoming, Snake River Ranch is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
