Who is Stefan Brands?
Stefan A. Brands is the founder of Credentica, which in 2008 sold its U-Prove technology to Microsoft. Prior to Credentica, Brands licensed earlier versions of the technology to DigiCash and Zero-Knowledge Systems. Brands holds an adjunct professorship at McGill University, serves on the advisory board of the Electronic Privacy Information Center and has served on the advisory boards of the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada and the ISP Institute of University of Toronto.
