Who is Steffen Skel?
Steffen Skel is a German luger who competed from 1992 to 2004. He won five medals at the FIL World Luge Championships with one gold, three silvers, and one bronze.
Skel also won six medals at the FIL European Luge Championships with three golds and three silvers.
His best finish at the Winter Olympics was fourth in the men's doubles event at Salt Lake City in 2002.
Skel won the overall Luge World Cup men's doubles title in 2000-1.
