Who is Stephanie Berto?
Stephanie Berto is a retired female track and field athlete, who represented Canada at the 1968 Summer Olympics in the women's 100 metres and 4 x 100 m relay, while becoming the youngest member of the olympic team at age 15. At 16, she captured a bronze medal in 100 meters and a silver medal in the 4 x 100 meter relay at the 1969 Pacific Conference Games in Tokyo, Japan. She won a bronze medal at the 1970 Commonwealth Games in Edinburgh, Scotland as a member of the 4 x 100 meter relay team. She claimed the gold medal in the women's 200 metres event at the 1971 Pan American Games in Cali, Colombia, and silver in the 100 metres.
