Who was Stere Adamache?
Stere Adamache, known by the diminutive Sterică, was a Romanian football player, who played as a goalkeeper. He played at the 1970 World Cup in the match between Romania and Brazil. He conceded two goals, one of them from Pelé, and was substituted with Rică Răducanu, being the first goalkeeper to be changed in a World Cup. He drowned in the Danube in 1978.
