Who is Stuart P. Stoller?

Stuart P. Stoller became senior vice president, process engineering of The New York

Times Company in January 2007. Mr. Stoller is responsible for overseeing productivity,

and cost efficiency and reduction. He previously served as vice president, process

engineering and corporate controller since June 2005. He joined the Company as vice

president and corporate controller in 1996. In addition in October 2000, Mr. Stoller

was also appointed to oversee the Company's Shared Services Center.

Before joining The Times Company, Mr. Stoller served as controller at Coopers

Lybrand for one year. Previously he was senior vice president for control and accounting

at R.H. Macy Company. During his 15 years at Macy's, he held a number of financial

positions including: senior vice president; group vice president; vice president;

administrator; manager, and senior accountant. He was part of the financial team

that helped stabilize the retailing company during its Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings

in the early 1990's.

Before Macy's, Mr. Stoller was an accountant with Deloitte Touche from 1977

to 1980.

Mr. Stoller received a B.S. degree in accounting from Brooklyn College in 1977 and

an M.B.A. degree in finance from Hofstra University in 1985.
