Who is Sugato Chakravarty?

Sugato Chakravarty is a Professor in the Department of Consumer Science at Purdue University He serves as Associate Editor of the Journal of Financial Markets.

Sugato spent his formative years at the famed St. Xavier's School in Calcutta. He went on to get his B. Tech in Chemical Engineering at Jadavpur University in Calcutta before coming to the US as a graduate student in the mid-eighties.Professor Chakravarty obtained his MS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Kentucky, and his PhD in Finance from Indiana University.
