Who is Szymon Szurmiej?
Szymon Szurmiej is a Polish-Jewish actor, director, and general manager of the Ester Rachel Kamińska and Ida Kamińska State Jewish Theater in Warsaw. From 1985 to 1989, he was member of the Polish Sejm. Since July 2004, he has been an honorary citizen of Warsaw. Member of the World Jewish Congress.
