Who is Tamar Kintsurashvili?

Tamar Kintsurashvili is a former Director General of Georgian Public Broadcaster 22 August 2005.

Was born on May 8, 1970 in Tskaltubo, Georgia. In 1994 has graduated from the Faculty of Journalism of Tbilisi Ivane Javakhishvili State University.

In 1993-95 was working as a correspondent of paper Droni, in 1995-99 was an editor of Political Division of the same paper, in 1999–2001 was a deputy editor of paper, in October 1999 was a Non-Staff Writer of paper Desert News, in 2001 was working as a PR Manager in Castel-Georgia group, from 2001 was an editor of the magazine Tavisupleba, From 2001 she is also the Communications and Media programs Director of the NGO Liberty Institute. Was taking part in many international training programs. She is an author and co-author of several scientific works.

In March 2005 Parliament of Georgia elected her to Board of Governors of Georgian Public Broadcaster, where she was a deputy chair of the Board till her election as Director General.

She speaks Russian and English languages.
