Who is Tamara Almeida?

Tamara Almeida Silva is a Brazilian beauty pageant contestant who won Miss Brazil World 2008 and represented her country in Miss World 2008. She speaks English, Spanish and Chinese basic.

Almeida won Miss Ouro Preto Mundo 2006 and placed as the 2nd runner-up in Miss Brazil World 2006. She competed in Miss Maja Mundial and placed as the 1st runner-up. In 2007, she competed in Miss Brazil World as Miss Espirito Santo. She placed as 3rd runner-up. In the same year, she was chosen to represent the island of Fernando de Noronha in Miss Tourism Queen International 2007 and she placed as 2nd runner-up. In 2008, she represented the state of Minas Gerais and won. She went on to represent Brazil in Miss World 2008, where she placed in the top fifteen.
