Who was Sœur Sourire?

Jeanine Deckers was a Belgian singer-songwriter and initially a member of the Dominican Order in Belgium. She acquired world fame in 1963 as Sœur Sourire when she scored a hit with the her French-language song "Dominique". She is sometimes credited as "The Singing Nun".
