Who is Theodore Roosevelt V?

Theodore Roosevelt V is an American businessman and environmentalist. His parents are investment banker Theodore Roosevelt IV and Constance Lane Rogers.

Until 2008, Roosevelt worked at the investment bank Lehman Brothers; he was a Senior Vice President in fixed income at its successor, Barclays Capital. Roosevelt joined New York based hedge fund Goldentree Asset Management in late 2010 where he currently serves as a Managing Director. Roosevelt is a board member of the New York League of Conservation Voters and is the Vice Chair of ecoAmerica. He was an early supporter of President Barack Obama's environmental policies. At 32, Roosevelt married Serena Clare Torrey on September 12, 2008, just two days before Lehman declared bankruptcy. He graduated from Deerfield Academy and Princeton University with a Bachelor of Arts degree.

He has competed in multiple full length Ironman races, including the 2012 US Championship in New York and the 2012 World Championship in Kona, Hawaii.

In "The Indomitable Theodore Roosevelt," a 1986 movie biography of the president, Roosevelt played the part of his own patrilineal great-granduncle, Quentin Roosevelt. Roosevelt appeared in "In the Blood," a 1989 documentary which argues that safari hunting helps preserve African wildlife.
