Who is Tim Modise?
Timothy Molefe Modise is a South African journalist, TV and radio presenter. He has also held a number of senior positions in governmental and non-governmental organisations, including chairing the 2010 FIFA World Cup Organising Committee and advising the Department of Environmental Affairs and Tourism.
Born on 8 September 1961, he attended Moruleng Secondary School before beginning his career in broadcasting.
His awards include SABC "Best Broadcaster in Radio", GQ Magazine's "Presenter Of The Year" and the Institute for Justice and Reconciliation's "Reconcilliation Award".
He is also featured interviewing Nelson Mandela in the video Experience Ubuntu, supplied with every desktop installation of Ubuntu Linux.
