Who is Toby Gad?

Tobias "Toby" Gad is a Los Angeles-based hit producer and songwriter from Germany, perhaps best known for co-writing Fergie's Grammy nominated hit song "Big Girls Don't Cry" as well as co-writing and producing Beyoncé's worldwide #1 hit "If I Were a Boy", and The Veronicas multi-platinum #1 "Untouched". He has worked with many super stars including Beyoncé, One Direction, Alicia Keys, Brandy, Drake Bell, Alexz Johnson, Natasha Bedingfield, Pat Monahan, Esmee Denters, Fergie, American Idol Finalists Kelly Clarkson, Kris Allen, Jessica Sanchez, Demi Lovato, Allison Iraheta, Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez, Donna Summer, The Veronicas, Koda Kumi; and has released over 150 records on major labels as a songwriter and/or producer.

In 2009 Toby and his managers David Sonenberg and William Derella started his record label called KITE RECORDS NYC. The first 2 artists on KITE are Susan Justice, signed through American Idol Judge Kara DioGuardi to Tom Whalley, Warner Bros, album release sced. for early 2010, and Jessica Jarrell, signed through David Massey to LA Reid, IDJ, sced for release early 2010

In 2009, Toby Gad's publishing company Gad Songs formed joint ventures with EMI publishing and with BMG rights publishing aiming on signing and developing producers and writers. The first signing of Gad Songs is producer/writer Dillon Pace from Staten Island.
