Who was Tom Gulley?
Thomas Jefferson Gulley was a professional baseball right fielder. He is 5 ft 11 in and weighs 178 lbs. He went to Mississippi College. He played for the Cleveland Indians from 1923 to 1924 and played one year for the Chicago White Sox. Gulley went on to serve at Sheriff of Pulaski County, AR during the events of the Little Rock Nine. He was born in Garner, North Carolina and died in an accidental drowning in Saint Charles, Arkansas.
