Who is Tony Barnette?
Anthony Lee "Tony" Barnette is a professional baseball player for the Tokyo Yakult Swallows.
Originally hailing from Federal Way, Washington, he attended Thomas Jefferson High School. He went on to go to Arizona State University, where pitched with the Sun Devils. Barnette was drafted by the Arizona Diamondbacks in the 10th round of the 2006 Major League Baseball Draft. He played in the Diamondbacks' organization through 2009, at which point he signed with the Yakult Swallows.
