Who is Tony See?

Tony See is a philosopher, thinker and writer from Singapore.

He graduated with a PhD from the European Graduate School, Saas-Fee, Switzerland. He was a student of Giorgio Agamben, Michael Hardt, Jean-Luc Nancy and Yves-Alain Bois.

He graduated with Master of Arts in Philosophy from the National University of Singapore, Singapore. He was a student of Alan Chan in Chinese Philosophy and Kathy Ku.

His research interest is in the intersections between philosophy, art and media, especially on community, multiculturalism and political thought in contemporary Asia. He is researching French thought in the 1960s, i.e. Derrida, Deleuze, Baudrillard and Foucault, and intellectual and cultural issues in Southeast Asia.

He is a recipient of the National University of Singapore Research Scholar Award.

He was a lecturer in International Studies at Monash University.
