Who was Trinidad de Ayala?
Trinidad de Ayala y Roxas (1856-1918), was a Filipina businesswoman.
She inherited the Ayala y CompaƱia from her father Antonio de Ayala and Margarita Roxas de Ayala. She worked as one of the leaders of the Ayala Corporation by guiding the company into banking and real estate development.
She married Jacobo Zobel y Zangroniz on February 5, 1875, upon his release from prison. De Ayala supported her husband's liberal causes during the Philippine Revolution.
