Who is Uttam Khobragade?
Uttam Khobragade has been appointed as Principal Secretary - Tribal Development Department on 19 May 2010. Earlier he was holding the post of General Manager of BEST. He is an IAS officer of 1984 batch. He has implemented a number of reforms in his three-year tenure with BEST benefiting from his IAS expertise. He has recently been featured in the special edition of India Today, a largest selling socio-political weekly in India, as "one of the 40 drivers of India's growth machine".
