Who was Victor Guillermo Ramos Rangel?

Victor Guillermo Ramos Rangel was born in Cúa, Miranda state, Venezuela, February 10, 1911, started as a musician at the Caracas Musical Declamation Academy, in that school obtain the composition degree, was one of the first students of Vicente Emilio Sojo, also one of the founders of the Venezuela Symphony Orchestra and the Orfeón Lamas in 1930, made his Bassoon studies in that orchestra. From 1941 to 1950 was professor of different schools from the Caracas Federal District, in 1945 worked with the Education ministry in different charges, in 1947 married Dilia Díaz Cisneros. Along with the Venezuela Symphony Orchestra he traveled to Europe and America, and also was member of the National Geographic reading club, in his live traveled around the world for general culture and the learning of languages, Victor Guillermo Ramos Rangel died in Caracas, December 10, 1986.

⁕In 1945 was music professor at the Music School of the Caracas culture direction.

⁕From 1945 to 1946 was professor of music, at the 19 de abril, Rubén González, Ricardo Zuloaga and Gabriel Mistral schools.

⁕Helped Vicente Emilio Sojo in the recopilation of Venezuelan popular songs.

⁕From 1944 to 1978 was Professor of Theory, Solmization and Music History at the José Ángel Lamas Superior Music School.
