Who was Vincențiu Babeș?
Vincențiu Babeș also known in was an ethnic Romanian lawyer, teacher, journalist and politician from the Banat, settled in Vienna, where he married Sophia Goldschneider in 1851.
He was one of the founding members of the Romanian Academy. He was the father of Victor Babeș.
