Vlad Shmunis

Who is Vlad Shmunis?

Mr. Shmunis brings more than 20 years of systems architecture and

telecommunications experience to RingCentral. Prior to founding Ring

Zero Systems, Inc. in 1991, Mr. Shmunis held engineering development

and technical management positions at Hewlett-Packard, Convergent

Technologies, and most recently as Director of Software Development at

Ampex corporation, where he spearheaded development of a pioneering

embedded object-oriented kernel. Mr. Shmunis has been instrumental in

RingCentral’s growth from inception to profitable industry leader with

international recognition, its sale to Motorola, as well as the

subsequent management buyout. Mr. Shmunis earned both his BSCS and MSCS

degrees from SFSU, and also attended Berkeley’s Executive MBA program.
