Vladimir Alekseevich Kanaykin is a Russian race walker.

On September 29, 2007 Kanaykin set a new world record for the 20 km race walk at the 2007 IAAF Race Walking Challenge Final, in Saransk, Russia. He walked a time of 1 hour, 17 minutes, 16 seconds to break the record previously held by three-time world champion Jefferson PĂ©rez of Ecuador.
