Who is Vladimir Veremeenko?
Vladimir Veremeenko is a Belarusian professional basketball player. A power forward from Gomel, he was drafted by the Washington Wizards with the 48th pick in the 2006 NBA Draft. He started his career at Avtodor Saratov, then moved with this team from Saratov to Saint Petersburg and played for new club Dynamo St. Petersburg, which based on Avtodor, then went on to play for Khimki BC in the Russian Super League for two seasons. Veremeenko was signed by UNICS Kazan in August, 2008. The Washington Wizards traded their rights to Veremeenko to the Chicago Bulls on July 8, 2010 in a deal that sent Kirk Hinrich to the Wizards.
