Who is Walé Adeyemi?

Walé Adeyemi, MBE, is a young British designer and stylist.

Adeyemi attended Thurrock and Basildon College.

He was presented the Fashion and Design Award at the Multi-Cultural Awards in 2001. He is an ambassador for the Prince's Trust. As well as his clothing label B-side by Wale, which he describes as "somewhere between the kerb and the boutique", celebrities he has clothed include Ms. Dynamite, June Sarpong, Alicia Keys, Mos Def, Reggie Yates, Beyoncé, Rihanna, Amerie, Charlotte Church, Missy Elliott, Lisa Maffia, and David and Victoria Beckham.

Adeyemi is of Nigerian descent. In 2004, he was nominated for, and won the AoC Gold Award, and was appointed Member of the Order of the British Empire in the 2008 Birthday Honours.
