Who is Wan Abdul Rahim Wan Abdullah?
Dato' Wan Abdul Rahim Wan Abdullah, known popularly as Cikgu Rahim, is a Malaysian politician and is currently the Member of the Parliament of Malaysia for the Kota Bharu constituency in Kelantan. He is a member of the Pan-Malaysian Islamic Party in the Pakatan Rakyat opposition coalition.
Abdul Rahim is a former Speaker of the State Assembly of Kelantan. He was elected to the federal seat of Kota Bharu in the 2008 election. In 2000, he urged PAS to accept female candidates for general elections, a view that was later adopted by the party.
