Wang Sanyun

Who is Wang Sanyun?

Wang Sanyun is a Chinese politician. Wang was first appointed as the acting Governor of Anhui, as well as vice-governor, in December 2007. He was re-elected Governor by the Anhui Provincial People's Congress on January 31, 2008. In December 2011, he became the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee of Gansu.

Wang was born in 1952 and is originally from Shan County in Shandong Province. He joined the Communist Party, a prerequisite for political office, in 1979. He worked in Guizhou, Sichuan and Fujian provinces before moving to Anhui in 2007.
