Who is Wendy Quirk?

Wendy Quirk is a former competition swimmer who represented Canada at the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal, Quebec. Quirk placed fifth overall in the 200-metre butterfly, sixth overall in the 100-metre butterfly, and ninth overall in the 400-metre and 800-metre freestyle.

In the 1978 Commonwealth Games, she won three gold medals in the 100-metre butterfly, 4x100-metre freestyle relay, and the 4x100-metre medley relay, a silver medal in the 200-metre butterfly, and a bronze medal in the 100-metre freestyle.
