Yacha Sutton

Who is Yacha Sutton?

Yacha Sutton has over 20 years of experience in the field of medical

devices and equipment. Aside from his in-depth experience in the device

world, Yacha has had extensive experience with taking companies from

very nascent stages to public offerings. In 1981, Yacha was

instrumental in the IPO of Laser Industries and served as a member of

the Board and the Executive Committee of the company. In 1990, he

joined Laser Industries as Executive Vice President CFO and was

then was appointed President and COO. The company was sold in February

1998 for $270M to ESC Medical Systems and a year later Yacha was

appointed CEO of ESC Medical Systems. As CEO, he led a major

restructuring program, turned the company to profitability in 2000 and

spearheaded a 2001 acquisition of the Coherent Medical Group. Since

2003, Yacha has served as President of Rugby Investments Ltd and led

investments in several start up companies.
