Who is Yajnavalkya?
Yājñavalkya of Mithila was a legendary sage of Vedic India, credited with the authorship of the Shatapatha Brahmana, besides the Yoga Yajnavalkya and the Yājñavalkya Smṛti. He is also a major figure in the Upanishads.
