Who is Yan Stastny?
Yan Pavol Stastny is an American professional ice hockey centre currently playing for the Thomas Sabo Ice Tigers of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga. Yan comes from the Slovak Stastny hockey family, and is the son of Hockey Hall of Famer Peter Šťastný. His uncles Anton and Marián Šťastný also played in the NHL, and his brother Paul Stastny plays for the Colorado Avalanche. He attended high school at Chaminade College Preparatory School.
