Rabbi Yitzchok Isaac ben Dov Ber Krasilschikov, also known as the Gaon of Poltava, was an exceptional Talmudic scholar and author of a monumental commentary on the Jerusalem Talmud. He was one of the last publicly practicing Orthodox rabbis in Communist Russia.
