Who is Yuliya Beygelzimer?

Yuliya Beygelzimer is a professional female tennis player from Ukraine.

Beygelzimer has competed for Ukraine both at the Olympics and the Fed Cup, finally reaching the Top 100, at number 83 in September 2006.

She is perhaps best known for almost beating Jennifer Capriati at the 2004 French Open, leading 3 games to 0 in the final set. The biggest win of her career came at the 2012 Barcelona Ladies Open, beating World No. 24 Flavia Pennetta in the second round.
