Who is Yuri Lyapkin?
Yuri Evgenievich Lyapkin is a retired ice hockey player who played in the Soviet Hockey League as a defenseman. He played for HC Spartak Moscow. He won a gold medal playing for the Soviet Union at the 1976 Olympics, as his team was undefeated. He was inducted into the Russian and Soviet Hockey Hall of Fame in 1973. He is Jewish.
