Who was Zandokht Shirazi?
Zandokht Shirazi was a prominent Iranian feminist, poet and school teacher, who was an activist from an early age. She established Majma' e Enghelabi e Nesvan in Shiraz in 1927, at the age of 18, and published Dokhtran Iran newspaper on women's issues from 1931 initially in Shiraz.
