Zofia E. Dziewanowska

Who is Zofia E. Dziewanowska?

Dr. Zofia E. Dziewanowska joined Ligand in April of 2002. Her clinical

research experience includes holding executive positions with major

pharmaceutical companies: Vice President, Clinical RD at

Hoffmann-La Roche, Director of Clinical Pharmacology at Merck Company,

Senior Vice President, Clinical RD, Maxia Pharmaceuticals and Sr.

Vice President of Clinical RD at Genta Pharmaceuticals. Dr.

Dziewanowska also served as Vice Chair of a Medical Section Steering

Committee for PhRMA. She has also served as Chair of an International

Sub-committee and a Chair of Education Committee for physicians in

Pharmaceutical Medicine at AAPP. Dr. Dziewanowska obtained her MD from

the Medical School University of Warsaw and PhD from the Polish Academy

of Science. Academic affiliations include faculty membership at The

Medical School of Cornell University, Rockefeller University, and The

Medical School of the University of London. Her name is listed in

several current Marquis’ “Who is Who”
