Who is Alexandria Riordan?
Alexandria "Zsa Zsa" Riordan-Niechcielska is a Polish-Irish-American figure skater. She competes internationally on the junior level.
Riordan grew up in southern New Jersey. Her maternal grandparents were born in Poland and so her mother speaks Polish fluently. Her father is Irish.
She competed for the USA until the early autumn of 2005. Placing high enough neither to qualify for the U.S. Figure Skating Championships nor to represent the USA internationally, she decided to compete for Poland as a member of Unia Dwory skating-club in Oświęcim. Due to some ISU restrictions, though, she was not allowed to compete internationally for almost three years, even though she placed high enough in the Polish Figure Skating Championships to represent the country internationally. At the same time, she has been starting in the American regional competitions, trying to qualify for the National Championships.
She had her international debut in the late winter of 2008. In February 2009, she started in Junior World Championships.
