Alterman translated Shakespeare, Molière, Racine and Russian classics into Hebrew and Yiddish. He wrote the lyrics of the famous Moshe Vilenski song Kalaniyot, sung by Shoshana Damari.
"Rock City" is a song by Krokus from the 1981 released fifth studio album Hardware. The composition, which is on position 7 on the album, was again written by the songwriter duo Fernando von Arb and Chris von Rohr. The song, along with "Easy Rocker", "Winning Man" and "Celebration", is one of the album's classics and is still regularly featured in the band's live set today.
